There is no Therapy?...

There was a concert in Athens on Saturday, 29/01/05...by Therapy?...
So we went there...Now, a concert is an occasion where you expect, and are expected to put some effort in the gig...Have some fun, let go some steam...The amount and the way of the expression is guided by the music...But on Saturday, there was some misunderstanding...Private security type of misunderstanding!
I have shared my part of fights, and the picture was not something new to me...It usually happens in events as that one...but to witness the massacre of a pour soul that had the bad idea - because it was a bad idea!!! - to touch (ok, rumors have him punching the...) a fucking mountain compared to him, and then !!!!12!!! such mountains dragging him out and beating the living shit out of him is not a settling fact for me...
The gig sucked, or at least that is my humble opinion, but the massacre is something that I ll keep in mind for future reference. And the reason it that the poor soul didn't do anything that any of my mates wouldn't do in any such occasion...But all in the best of moods...When you have people stage - diving, and a number of others flying over your head, you do not expect the private security to intervene and stop the fun!!! After all, it is these instances that make a gig successful. I imagine what could have happened if it was me, or some other dumb mf, with 19 others supporting him, and not very happy with the idea of been told how they are supposed to have fun...
I can't pin-point the reason that this got to me, and why it made me waste my time to write it down... Most probably it was the boy's eyes, and how quickly they filled with tears when the hand of the first human mountain grabbed his throat and stopped the breathing process... Or maybe the fact that he cried silently when he heard that when he would be taken outside he would learn pain, and a lesson...a hint of realization must have reached his clouded mind, and an inescapable need for his mother's warm embrace succumbed him... Maybe it was all these that I saw, and the fact that 12 mountains decided to take their wrath on a fragment of a rock that looked like that, that made me really angry and fed up with them, and got me writing today...
Who knows... Maybe this should be part of a change as well...
