Remember a band called RATM - for those that dare say no, prey you'll never meet me, I make it simple: (R)age(A)gainst(T)he(M)achine - ?

they had a song called Take the power back...Intense lyrics, but not so intense as far as music was concerned, always in comparison to their other songs. Also, have you ever heard Sepultura or Soulfly? Hardcore music, not to the liking of many...There are however two songs that I point you to...Roots and Brazil, belonging to the bands in the order stated previously...These two songs are "dirty"...They cause a rage towards anything "normal", anything ordinary, and promote to some degree...violent outbreaks...

How does that have anything to do with changes...Hhhhmmmm...Not very wise statement...Music, art, literature, and recently movies, and internet - all media tools available in the hands of the right people can make all the difference...Bring back The Woodstock...The Doors, Hendrix...etc, etc, etc...Anything intense and different is massacred by those that have a steady, settled, and predetermined path in the life, which above all is ordinary and in my opinion void...I call you to look between the lines, and identify the little daily tricks that are played on us, so blatant and rude, that we are left untouched by them...Resulting in our current state. You will listen lounge music, mind-numbing sounds, relaxing and soothing sounds...And you will not do it so because you like it...no...You will do it because it is imposed...So cleverly imposed, that we have reached a point to claim that it is our legitimate, and valid - with arguments - decision. Go out to a club or a bar that is "trendy"...Stay for 1 1/2 hour, make a mental note of the music you heard, and then go to another in the same league...and if you have the guts, patience, and money, go to as much as possible...All in the same night though, and make notes on the music you hear from any aspect you can imagine...

Now, compare, and you will realize that in any place you went, you heard the same things, over and over again...In more than one occasion, you even heard it in the same order with the previous place...How can it go unnoticed??? This escapes me...

Now, go to a place that place different music...Not the one that is "trendy", the other...The one junkies, violent people, lazy people, rude people, and so on listen to...Intense, lyrics blaming concentrated power, lyrics that call attention to issues - trivial things, such as war, oppression, that short of things. Nothing as important as who will fuck me tonight, or the pink color is in fashion today, and there is a new shoe from D&G that I MUST HAVE...otherwise my world will collapse. These are empty...dead...in the edge of extinction...prosecuted by police, media, and people that haves serious things to do in their life - mainly one: guide us!

And guide where? Into oblivion...Forget about the fact that you work 8 to 10 hours per day, for 22 days per month, only to make 600 - 700 euro...Forget the fact that you cannot afford to live on your own, without the support of your next of kin...Forget the fact that you cannot enjoy your life because you cannot afford to...Buy things! Get a credit card! It's free...and it's cheap...and you can pay in 44444444999999999982328379468723154809127560854 interest-free installments for your rest of your life....and by the way....there is a new loan that you can get in two hours....6000 euro for you, to go on vacation with your loved one(s)...only catch? if you don't pay on time and for the following 120 months, I'll have your house, car - both of which are still on installments mind you - and your left lung...after all it was all there in the contract you signed, YOU DUMB MOTHER FUCKER.....

Don't buy drugs...drugs will kill you!!! Go buy cigarettes from the kiosk in the corner, and alcohol from the liquor store...It will not kill you...but even if they do, I don't care, they are taxed, and I make a profit...Drugs are illegal and they kill you, so don't buy them...Cigarettes and alcohol are legal and the kill you, and I tax them, so they are gooooooooooood for you dumb mother fucker...buy them....I make a profit....

And how music helps? It either awakes you or sedates you...The choice is yours to take, and the consequences are mine to suffer...
